The Duo system serves as a practical Bluetooth accessory designed specifically for iPhone users, with Duo Plus functioning as a dedicated app to enhance integration with iOS devices. Once paired through the specialized application, your iPhone can operate as Dual SIMs & Dual Standby, enabling calls and SMS from any SIM inserted into the Duo device. For iOS devices lacking telecommunication functionality, such as iPads and iPod Touches, Duo can transform them into fully functional phones.

Phone Calls & SMS

• After pairing Duo with your iPhone, your contacts list will automatically synchronize. You can initiate calls and send messages directly through the app, replicating standard phone functions. However, the app does not support editing contact information; modifications should be made via the phone’s native Contacts application.

Regarding DuoPlus’s background audio functionality:

The BLE-enabled device includes an Anti-lost Alarm feature with two modes: Mutual Find and Lost Alarm.

A. Mutual Find Mode

• Once connected to the app, navigate to Settings—More, and enable the “Find iPhone” feature. You can select a preferred ringtone from the built-in list for alarm alerts.
• To locate a misplaced iPhone still linked to the BLE device, press and hold the camera button on the gadget for approximately four seconds. This action prompts the iPhone to play the selected ringtone, aiding in its recovery.
• During playback, pressing the camera button again for about four seconds will mute and stop the ringtone.
• This function operates regardless of whether the app is running in the background or foreground, providing a reliable method of locating your device.

B. Lost Alarm Mode

• If either the connection between the iPhone and BLE device is lost—due to weak Bluetooth signal, app closure, or distance—the selected alarm ringtone will automatically trigger on the iPhone, alerting the user to potential issues without dependence on app state.

GPS Functionality

• In situations where contact with the BLE device is lost, the app utilizes the iPhone’s GPS to record and display the last known location. This is marked as a pin on a map within the app’s Lost Records section, facilitating user backtracking.

• Compatible with Apple devices running iOS 7.1 or later, including:
• iPhone 5 and newer models (iPhone 5c, 5s, 6 series, 6s series);
• iPad2 and later models, including all mini series;
• iPod Touch (5th generation and above).

Note: Prolonged use of GPS in background mode can significantly impact battery life.
